What's it going to cost? You may have noticed that all my
pages dedicated to kooks are hosted on free servers. I
personally don't feel that the kooks are worth spending any
money on. There is no real chance of recouping the costs
involved and it just becomes an on-going expense. There is
another reason I host the pages on free servers rather than
on any of my own domains. Sometimes the kooks can really go
ballistic and fire off enough complaints to the hosting
company to get a site shut down. It has happened to me in
the past. Now I completely insulate my money making sites
and personal web site from the kook web sites. That way an
irate kook can't shut down more than the site dedicated to
him if he manages to get the hosting company to take his
complaints seriously. If you decide to go through with this,
I suggest you find a hosting company with a really liberal
acceptable use policy. That's probably going to be a company
that hosts a lot of porn sites and/or other types of
controversial sites. They won't be so quick to shut you down
if they get flooded with complaints from an irate kook.
