OK, I'll open the bidding by claiming

1) that the
images we see have been "stretched" y camera motion
lower left toward upper right like this illustrated by the SLOPE of the
*****'s

Draw a line through the ***'s and that line is approximately the slope of
the motion of
the camera

2) most of the shutter time was spent creating the brighter images
(brighter dots) at the
lower left of each little streak.

3) the red image was broadened by the image smear

(Note: the blurring or smear assumed to be due to camera motion could also
be a
result of object motion, or both, but it object motion it was moving VERY
fast. I suspect
it was camera motion, unless the witness claims to have used a tripod)

I presume the original is a digital photo .... or did he get it developed
at a 1 hour photo place?
