Damn!  Jim Hickman would really be pissed off if I told him the photo he attached below is yet another one of my fakes!

Actually, we received 149 sighting cases in Oklahoma last year, about average. It fluctuates quite a bit, one year; (1952) they had nearly 2000 sightings nationwide and a local Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was "buzzed" by a ufo in his patrol aircraft, however, photo's are quite rare. I have enclosed a copy of a photo taken near Ft. Sill in 1997.

I recently did a web search for Oklahoma UFO sightings, and it seems Oklahoma has had quite a number of them.  Did they get any pictures by any chance?

I have now posted my discussion and analysis of your sighitng on my web
site.
http://brumac.8k.com.
Scroll down a bit. it is the first sighting presented (triangle).
I have not "formally" announced this yet, so if you have any problems with
it or
find some error, please let me know.

Note: Actual link to analysis is
http://brumac.8k.com/LawtonTriangle/LawtonTriangle.html

"What could this have been? It certainly doesn't seem to be any military
device or any type of
object normally in the sky. Internally lighted blimps seem like very
strange objects at night,
but they have a distinctive shape. (There was a rash of blimp sightings and
videos back in the
early 1990's, so we have video "data" on the types of images they
make...nothing like this.)
Hence, unless someone has a better idea, I would have to classify this as a
True UFO (TRUFO),
which might be some sort of Alien Flying Craft (AFC) (or two such craft?)" -

Hey "Joe"- check this out!

From the UFO Updates List:

Background: There were a couple List Members complaining that
the only UFO cases considered "important enough" to discuss at
length were hackneyed old cases like Roswell, Lakenhurst, Alien
Autopsy, etc. The complainants went on to wonder why recent
sightings do not get the same respect.

This was Bruce Maccabee's response...
